Treasures. . .

It's all kind of hard to take in. . . Just seven short months ago our family was asked to help at a school in Thailand. Now we are just thirty-nine days from boarding an airplane that will take us far from all that is near and dear. . .

Friends - that we may never again see on this earth
Beautiful Eastern Washington (it's especially beautiful right now. . .)
Soft beds, running water, "normal" food, etc. . . .
A land that speaks English (which I am sure I will come to appreciate even more as time goes by)

That doesn't matter, though, because our destination is a place full of hidden treasures waiting for someone who cares -- someone who will take the time to tell them about a Saviour who gave up the riches of heaven to save them. What we are leaving behind in nothing compared with what He parted with. . . The best part is the other destination on our itinerary. No, we don't know when we will be there, but we do know that it will be worth it all. It doesn't matter what we have to go through on this earth because following Him brings unspeakable joy here and in the land beyond. . .

Will you be there??

  1. From my experience I can almost promise you that at some point you will look back and find yourself so much more broken and yet so much more abundantly and completely blessed than anything you could ever have imagined...

Looking forward to having you here!!:)
