The only condition upon which the freedom of man is possible is that of becoming one with Christ.
As much as it may seem to be an oxymoron because this concept is so contrary to what our carnal minds think, it is, in fact, true.
James 2:12 says that we are to speak and act as those who will be judged by the "law of liberty."
But how can we be "free" when we obey the law? Isn't that the opposite of being free?
Galatians 5:1 says, "Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage."
What bondage is Paul speaking of?
Jesus said in John 8:34, "Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin."
But Jesus does not leave us there. He promised in John 8:32, "the truth shall make you free."
So why hold on to sin any longer? Give your heart Jesus and you will be free!!!
